The interior is all original - the seats, door cards and headlining are in outstandingly good condition, with no rips or tears to any of the leather seats. A nice touch is the supplying dealer's plaque, still present and mounted to the wooden dashboard trim.
This fine specimen of 1930s motoring comes with plenty of documentation, including parts invoices, its original owner's handbook, various old MOTs, and even the 1937 buff log book and a 1939 insurance cover note.
The car has recently been the subject of some lavish care and attention, with recent expenditure on the car running to more than £600 and including a full service (new spark plugs, points, and rotor arm), a new brake master cylinder, four brake cylinders, three brake hoses and copper washers.
The end result is a very useable and presentable Morris Eight, a car sure to attract admiring and wistful looks wherever it goes, a prime example of a very different and enchanting era of motoring.
