Now sitting proudly amongst our prized stock is this stunning Ford V8 Pilot in a very appealing colour combination of dark blue and cream. The car has had only four former keepers and has covered just over 62,000 miles.

Various MOT certificates dating back to June 1978 are present, as well as documentation of the first owner, Reginald Critchley of Reading, who purchased the vehicle on the 3rd November, 1950. Our flat eight-engined Pilot even contains its original buff log book!

The car boasts a very clean interior headlining, as well as near-pristine door cards and carpets, which help give the car amazing character. The Ford is factory-fitted with a wind-out front windscreen, and the instruments and switches are all within easy reach of one another, making for a comfortable driving experience.

The Pilot looks stunning from every angle - free from blemishes and with a deep all-over shine. The eight-cylinder 3.6-litre powerhouse engine is paired with a 3-speed manual transmission, which gives a very easy column change with no notchy business!!

As you might suppose, this Pilot was fastidiously maintained during its last long-term ownership. The photographs of the underside testify to the car having been garaged for most if not all its life.

She starts first time and sounds magnificent. The V8 purr has a real presence to it, and will certainly help turn heads at any show, especially with the car's striking large chrome headlamps which make this particular Ford V8 stand out somewhat proudly.

Clearly a car with masses of character and style, this is a true classic in every sense, and will doubtless give its new owner many many hours of happy motoring.
