Craner Classics is offering an ultra-rare 1973 Vauxhall Victor VX490 FE, known as the “Hot Transcontinental,” one of the last Victors of this range to be produced. The car has only covered a mere 23, 361 miles, accompanied by a large number of MOTs confirming the mileage, along with other service records and paperwork, and still retains its original stamped service book. .
The Vauxhall VX490 is in absolutely stunning condition from top to bottom, featuring an immaculate tan interior, flawless headlining, and pristine carpets. It’s surely one of the best examples left in existence. Many cars of this era were altered with glass sunroofs, which spoiled them by today’s standards, but this Victor remains totally original and untouched. T
The engine bay is beautifully presented and easy to work on, with everything accessible. Its powerful 2. 3 twin carburetors gave it strong pulling power in the 1970s, with few cars to compare. The Victor is very easy to drive thanks to its smooth automatic gearbox, and with just 23, 361 miles and in this condition, it truly stands out from the crowd.
